Psychotherapy is a process that helps address and overcome personal problems and mental health issues by improving well-being so that there is understanding and improvement in relationships, social skills, interpersonal conflicts that can affect anyone.
It is a process of engaging in a therapeutic relationship on a weekly basis in a safe non judgmental environment where you can feel acknowledged and listened to.
The process is to understand the basis of any difficulties in resolving conflicts, coping with major life changes, recovering from abuse, working with depression, suicidal thoughts, bereavement, bullying, post traumatic stress, recovery from addictions, relationship distress, separation and divorce and many other life issues. I also work inter-culturally.
Psychotherapy has been shown to be as effective as medication like anti-depressants.
The effectiveness of Psychotherapy is enhanced greatly by working with a skilled and experienced Psychotherapist.
I have 20 years experience in the field of Psychotherapy and I also offer Training and Supervision to other Therapists.
